2025-YKS: Application Process

The 2025 Higher Education Institutions Examination (2025-YKS) will be held on June 21-22, 2025. The Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) is scheduled for June 21, 2025, while the Field Proficiency Tests (AYT) will take place on the morning of June 22, 2025, followed by the Foreign Language Test (YDT) in the afternoon.

Applications for the exam will be accepted from February 6 to March 3, 2025.

Candidates can submit their applications starting from 2:45 PM on February 6, 2025, either through ÖSYM Application Centers or individually via ÖSYM's https://ais.osym.gov.tr website or the ÖSYM Candidate Transactions Mobile Application.

Candidates who have applied for the 2025 Military Academy Student Candidate Selection Examination (2025-MSÜ) are also required to apply for the 2025-YKS to be considered for placement by the Ministry of National Defense into the National Defense University. Detailed information is provided in the 2025-MSÜ Guide.

Candidates who have previously graduated from an associate or bachelor's degree program should check their graduation information via e-Government. Those whose graduation information is not available in the Higher Education Information System should ensure that their respective universities update this information in the system.
