Students who graduate from Muş Alparslan University can collect their diplomas within one month after their graduation date. Diplomas can be obtained from the Student Affairs Office by presenting a student ID card.
Students who have lost their ID cards must publish a lost item notice in a local newspaper and then apply to the Student Affairs Office. Diplomas are issued only to the student. However, students who cannot collect their diplomas in person can authorize another individual by providing a notarized power of attorney.
Students who have not completed their bachelor’s degree program may apply for an associate degree diploma by submitting a petition to the department chair of their respective faculty. Students who have successfully completed all courses from the first four semesters and have earned 120 ECTS credits may be eligible for an associate degree diploma.
Students who have successfully completed all required courses but have a cumulative GPA (AGNO) below 2.00 must retake any DD or DC graded courses until their cumulative GPA reaches 2.00 or above.
To graduate, students must:
✔ Successfully complete all courses in their curriculum
✔ Achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00
Students who lose their original diploma must:
✔ Publish a lost diploma notice in a national newspaper
✔ Provide a copy of their national ID
✔ Submit a petition to the Student Affairs Office
Once graduation procedures are completed, graduate information is sent to the YÖKSİS system. However, ÖSYM updates its records periodically, and in some cases, students may need to manually update their education status.
To update your information:
✔ Log in to the ÖSYM Candidate Procedures System (AİS)
✔ Navigate to the Education Information section
✔ Click the "Update My Education Information from E-Okul/YÖKSİS" button to ensure the latest graduation records are reflected.
